This commitment is reflected in our long journey, with a key milestone being the Ibn Al-Haytham Cardiology Conference, which has become a cornerstone of our mission as a pharmaceutical company. It brings together leading experts from Syria and abroad to offer a unique scientific experience, solidifying our role as the premier scientific partner for cardiologists in Syria—both in word and in deed.

In collaboration with the Syrian Cardiac Society and with the participation of esteemed experts from both Syria and abroad, we recently held the third edition of the Ibn Al-Haytham Cardiology Conference in Damascus. This year’s focus was on atherosclerosis, a condition that threatens the lives of many. The conference covered the latest scientific updates and research on risk factors and pathophysiology of atherosclerosis, along with advances in early diagnostic tools and modern therapies. It also addressed the continuously evolving treatment guidelines for conditions related to atherosclerosis, such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as updates on both cardiac and non-cardiac diseases linked to atherosclerosis.

The conference was structured into three sessions, featuring lectures by prominent Syrian cardiologists, with a special contribution from Dr. Mohannad Al-Ajrad from the UK. The discussions among attendees played a pivotal role in fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
